Qrooz is designed for permanent and intensive use. All the components, materials and equipment are highly durable: Qrooz is a solid and functional ship.
But above all, Qrooz is warm and comfortable. Even in the Scandinavian winter, should Qrooz take you there. Every Qrooz has a low temperature condensing boiler and Jaga "energy saver" radiators. The walls and ceilings are very well insulated and naturally all glass surfaces are double-glazed. And if you find yourself in a Mediterranean summer, the radiators also have a cooling mode.
The space offered by Qrooz is surprising. The amount of living, working and storage space is that of a mid-sized apartment.
Durable technology
The technology on Qrooz is also focused on comfort. Maintenance is minimised as much as possible, and all the technology used is simple but well thought-out. Every part of Qrooz is durable and functional.
The boat has efficient engines for economic and smooth sailing. The power supply is the same as at home, with normal voltage and sockets. And the ship is not dependent on power from the shore. Despite the size of Qrooz the vessel can easily be manoeuvred with the powerful bow and stern thrusters.
